The Scouts BSA Program

The Scouts BSA Program is a scout lead, adult mentored program that focuses on teaching and developing scout skills. By participating in a scouting program, scouts learn new skills, participate in a wide range of activities, and develop leadership. Every troop is run by the scouts while adults are present to provide guidance and direction. The scouts are encouraged to plan their own activities and run troop meetings on their own. For more information on the valuable skills Scouts learn, check out this link:  Why Scouting?

Three main areas of scouting that help develop these skills are Rank Advancement, Merit Badges, and Positions of Responsibility. Click below to learn more!
